Aromatherapy Bath Bombs

Aromatherapy Bath Bombs

These are ideal for cold season or any day when you just want to get a nice aromatherapy experience in the shower.

They are made of 100% natural products and super easy, plus the baking soda will clean your bathtub in the process!

What you'll need...

- 1 cup baking soda (about half a box)
- 1/3 cup water (and a bit more if needed)

Muffin liners
Muffin/cupcake pan

A hot oven preheated to 350 F

In a bowl mix the baking soda and 1/3 cup water, if it needs more water add a few drops just until it comes together.
Line the muffin tin with the paper or foil liners and distribute the mix (Mine made about 5 but I think 6 is ideal)  The mixture is grainy like quicksand, use a spoon and in a circular motion flatten the top of the mixture in each cup and it will look nice.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Let it cool completely and then pop the liners out and the baking soda pucks should be easily removed from the liner.  Since it's cool at this point you can store them away then simply drop a few drops of your favourite essential oils into it and throw it into the shower to experience the beautiful scents.

Essential oils are not the home fragrance oils, be sure to go to a health store and ask for something that is suitable for baths.  I used Orange Mandarin, Grapefruit, ylang ylang and even Tea Tree oil is great for colds!

This is also a great gift for someone who might have a cold!
