I never thought french toast can be as festive as this! Love eggnog mixed in baked treats, I never thought it can bring french toast to a whole new level. Great!

What is the actual measurement of a "knob of butter"?

A knob of butter is like a small nugget, about a tbsp, but you can use a tsp at a time for frying. It tends to get absorbed with french toast so you have to keep adding to the pan depending on how many batches you're frying up. Add a little oil to that if you don't want the butter to get brown and burn too fast on you while frying.

Really just enough for frying.
