A big breakfast before a big job!

Building a cedar shelf for my kitchen, so of course before I began a big breakfast was in order !

Cinnamon Apple Streusel french toast with whipped cream! Lots of maple syrup too!
If this french toast doesn't say Autumn then I don't know what does!

  2. Mrs. Muffins, I'm glad you were inspired by it!

    I guess a mistake turned into a good thing, my apple cake did not bake well so I scraped off all the apples and streusel as not to waste the buttery goodness and re-baked it until the apples were these little candied yummy bits and the rest was nice and flakey. Goes well on ice cream too. An interesting topping idea!
