Spelt Apple Pie


Spelt Apple Pie

This crust recipe is so hearty and amazing, with those nutty notes it goes perfectly with apple and it's a nice change from the norm. My sister and I had a nice time making this one and an even better time eating it, yumyum!

2 1/2 cups whole spelt flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter
6 to 8 tablespoons ice cold water

We baked it at 400 F then lowered to 350 to finish
