Mini Cherry Pies II

Here is another batch of those yummy cherry pies. Cherries are still in the supermarkets so I thought I'd pick up another bag and make more.

This time around I learned a few things like doubling the pie dough pastry recipe will guarantee that you get a dozen of these and you'll have extra pastry to put away in the freezer.

Also they baked in my oven for 30 mins on 375 F and turn out perfect.

I didn't do any lattice work or anything but used the back of the piping tips (different sizes) and cut out circles then decorated the pies with those like petals tucking them each under the next.
