Tip for moist chicken


Lemon Pepper Chicken

This trick is not only reserved for indian recipes, but I marinade my chicken in a thick layer of yogurt salted well and let it hang out in the fridge overnight. I guarantee whatever you do with that chicken it will be MOIST!

Here sprinkled with some lemon pepper and straight on the grill. Also if you can buy bone in it's so much better, not only is it cheaper but there is more flavour and less dryness to the meat. Chicken breast is not my preferred piece because it's normally dry but when it's so tender and moist even I can't resist it.

Here was a chance to put my mini slow cooker to some use. I've used the same idea for this 6 hour slow cooked chicken recipe only rinsing off most of the yogurt off the bone in chicken breasts and adding lots of BBQ sauce for a moist fork-flaking (is that even a word) chicken!
